Maybe God Isn’t Saying No - He’s Saying Try Again
There are moments in life when our faith feels uncertain and our hard work seems invisible. We begin to question whether the path we are walking is truly meant for us. In those quiet moments of doubt, I have often wondered—does God close certain doors, or does He wait for us to knock louder? This thought has shaped my journey of perseverance, belief, and purpose.
We often hear the saying “Jo hota hai, ache ke liye hota hai”—whatever happens, happens for the best. When things don’t go our way, we usually comfort ourselves by saying, “Maybe God didn’t want this for me.”
But if we truly believe that God is with us every second, why do we decide so quickly that a certain path isn’t meant for us? Why do we assume that a setback is His way of closing a door, instead of testing how much we truly want to walk through it?
Think about a seed. It lies buried in darkness for weeks before it sprouts. The gardener doesn’t dig it up in doubt every other day. They water it, trust the process, and wait. In the same way, our efforts often remain unseen for a while. The silence of results isn’t always rejection; sometimes it’s growth happening underground.
This thought has stayed with me during my own journey. I am preparing for my third attempt at the UGC NET exam. In my last attempt, I qualified for PhD but couldn’t clear NET. A small voice inside me whispered, “Maybe this exam isn’t for you.” But a stronger voice said, “Don’t stop until you achieve your dream.”
Maybe God has not denied me this path. Maybe He is waiting to see how much effort I am willing to put in. The dream itself was planted in my heart for a reason, and perhaps this time He is ready to walk beside me as I give it everything I have.
I am moving forward with faith, discipline, and complete trust—in His plan and in my own perseverance.
Each attempt teaches me something new—about patience, focus, and the quiet strength that comes from not giving up. I no longer see failure as God’s denial but as His reminder that growth takes time. Every effort, every small step, is noticed, even when it feels unseen. Maybe God is not testing our limits but revealing how limitless our faith can be.
Woww!!! Got goosebumps💖🫶
